Letter to Members on Nov. 20, 2020
With Thanksgiving less than a week away and many of you preparing to celebrate, we want to wish you a healthy, safe and responsible holiday.
As a leading national medical association, we feel it’s important for MGMA and its members to support and recommend the CDC recommendations. We understand that this year has been challenging, both professionally and personally, and all of us want to spend time with family. However, as we watch the national spikes of COVID-19 infections, hospitalizations and deaths, we feel as medical practice leaders we must role model what is in the best interest of our communities and country.
Like MGMA, many other large associations, including the AMA, AHA, and the ANA, are also supporting the CDC recommendations and encouraging people to celebrate in a socially responsible manner as addressed in a letter yesterday.
You are important to us and we care about you, your families and loved ones. Please be safe in the coming days and throughout this holiday season.
